We finally made it to Provincetown for the 6th International Encaustic Conference! After the 3 hour trip to Boston, we were the only two on the Cape Air flight to Provincetown. We were pleased to see that there was a representative from Enterprise Car Rentals because the main office in Orleans, MA was closed for Memorial Day and we had no idea how we were going to pick up our car. The last person I spoke with months ago when we rented the car said we had to take a 45 minute taxi ride to Orleans to pick up the car but neglected to tell us that they would be closed on the scheduled pickup day. Surprisingly they had my reservation in the computer at the Provincetown airport and the Enterprise person helped us with the details about our Nissan Altima. We had no problems getting to the Provincetown Inn and after checking in we rested a while. Not too long. I had to go outside and begin photographing the landscape. Here are a few pictures.
